The flowers on the Altar are donated by Sister Patricia Butler, in memory of her mother, Sister Lillian McCarty. Flowers are also donated by Sister Betty Sanders and Sister Ora Pettway (daughters), Sister Iris Sanders, Sister Cheryl Curtis and Brother Derrick Sanders (grandchildren), in memory of their mother and grandmother, Mrs. Maude Leverette.

On Saturday, April 30, 2016, the Thespian Ministry will present a Puppet Show featuring “The Crusading Puppets for Christ” at 4:00pm in the educational building.

For the upcoming Seniors Brunch with Pastor on May 21, 2015, there is a sign-up sheet at the back of the church for all members 60 years and older. The Pastor’s Aide needs an accurate count of all who will attend.

The True Love Missionary Baptist Church Scholarship/Grant applications are now available and may be obtained from any Scholarship Committee Member. The members are: Sister Viola Harper, Sister Helen Merritt, Brother Ennis McGee and Trustee Ivory J. Weems.  All applications must be returned to a Scholarship Committee Member no later than 1:30pm on Sunday, May 22, 2015.

On Friday, May 13, 2016, the Youth Church will be sponsoring a Movie Night in the educational building. The cost is $5.00 and will include popcorn.  The doors will open at 6:00pm, and the Movie will start promptly at 7:00pm.  If you have any questions or need more information, please contact Sister Nelson or Minister Spruiel.

Sister Josie Thompson was honored at BME State Christian Educator’s Breakfast as True Love’s Outstanding Teacher for the year 2016. The breakfast was held at New Providence Baptist Church on Saturday, April 23, 2016.  Sister Thompson has been faithfully teaching in True Love’s Baptist Training Union for over 25 years.  Sister Thompson:  We honor you for your faithful service to the Lord, and True Love Missionary Baptist Church.
